"To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted." ~Bill Bryson
Tourism websites present great opportunities to connect the world with their location, culture, and services through their website.
These types of destination driven websites are made even more special with the photography that is special to their location.
Take the Taos Pueblo website which is designed to tell the story of their 1,000 year old Tiwa history and tradition.
The Taos Pueblo is the most continuously inhabited place in North America. It also serves the pueblo as a source of current information. I trained the Central Management staff on updating their website.
Pecos New Mexico is one of the most beautiful places in America. Several important civil war battles were fought there. It was the gateway to the West, and allowed travel from the Great Plains to Santa Fe through the southern Rocky Mountains. The trail was used by Indian tribes, Spanish settlers, traders on the Santa Fe Trail, Civil War soldiers and cruisers on Route 66. Sharing the beauty of this special place is very rewarding.
